Someone in Salem/Portland or South willing to mentor part time?

I am looking for someone that would be willing to take me and mentor me in saddle making on a very part time basis; I work full time (sometimes more than 40 hours a week) and sometimes have to work on the weekends, but the weekends and sometimes evening are all I have available to work at my leather.

I can afford to pay some, or exchange or some computer / basic website work; I live in the Independence area, so it would have to be within an hour or so of home.

I am starting my first saddle, and have all the books, all the DVD's but just don't learn well that way; I really love the leather work and want to learn to make my own saddle, I just need some help along the way. If you know of someone that might be willing to take a student on a very part time basis, please let me know.

I could travel a bit farther on the weekends, and am open for suggestions
