Nost Report post Posted June 20, 2012 I'm looking at making a wrap around cover for a sketch pad for my fiance. The sketch book itself will be hand stitched but i want to make it so that once she has filled it, she can (if she wants to) easily replace the 'book' with a readily available spiral bound sketch pad. the leather is quite thin (1.8mm) so i'm not sure how best to do this - any thoughts (or examples) would be greatly appreciated PS. This is my first time at any leatherwork; wish me luck. tooling will just be a swivel knife carve of her name and some ivy creeping along the side; and some light punch marks for some depth Cheers D
