Artisan Rave

Recommended Posts

I'm a new member and it was not easy to find a like minded site. I'd like to say a little about the staff at Artisan and particularly Stev who is the manager and chief cook and bottle washer.(Ops, showing my age.) I've owned a 3000 for two years and thy have never laughed at me for asking some of the most basic questions. I originally had a Tippman Boss and foun that in some jobs you needed both hands to guid work. So I would ask somebody to pull the handle and I'd guide the leather. This became more and more difficult for their were less people to ask and I was tired of asking for help. I finally ordered the 300 and it was easy to put together. I started to sew and thought I'd solved my problem. Than I started to do more things than I had ever done before and you know---got myself in over my head! Steve and jerry were very helpful. Steve stayed with me in these problems and guided me through all of them with much patiants.(I'd of lost it if I had been him!) As usual I have painted myself into a new corner for I was making a knife and pistol rig for one of the SASS guys I shoot with. Called Steve and he told me to try the holster plate I had purchased when I purchased my sewing machine. It was a little difficult for the plate was of old design and Steve suggested I send him the plate so he could up date it to the new design. It was frustrating to realize that the new plate had a defect. So back to Steve and his patiants--- he is repairing the problem of a stripped screw on the holster plate and is now in the process of returning it to me ASAP. I can not say enough about the ease of running the 3000 or the amount of wonderfull customer service that he has given. The purpose of the holster plate is to raise the material off the original plate so you can sew even though you have a belt loop oe other such thing in the way of your normal sewing. It is also great for sewing buckles without wundering how to get in close to the buckle to keep it tight against the bend in the belt.

I can not say enough about the company or Steve. They are top shelf in my humble opinion. I realize I'm new to this site but I had to say something that is both true and positive about a company that works this hard to help and assist customers from the simple to the difficult.

I mainly do cowboy gear but am looking forward to learning more .

Respectfully,

Gabby Joe

Any questions or new ideas?

P.S. I am computer illiterate so please bear with me.
