  1. eglideride, I have a stitching clam just like the one in your photo. I tried to use it, and one of the arms immediately cracked. I guess I should have left it alone.
  2. Yes, I could cut the thumb hole but, as can be seen in the photo, there is a lip around the hole to keep it from tearing. I suspect they are using a heated oval punch to make the holes, but I don't know for sure. Online, I have found quite a number of ID wallets with the thumb hole feature, and the cut outs all appear to be the same. This leads me to believe that either the makers are buying the plastic pre-punched, or there is a source for heated oval punches. If I could locate either the pre-punched windows or the correct oval punch, then I'd be all set.
  3. Greetings everyone, I am trying to make a ID holder/magnetic money clip. I have everything I need, except that I have been unable to find a source for ID windows with thumb holes cut into them. The thumb hole comes in handy when you need to remove your license from the case. I have clear plastic that I can use, but I'd really like to have a thumb hole window. I have searched the forum, the internet, and my local craft stores, but to no avail. If anyone can provide a source, I would greatly appreciate it. Below is a picture of the kind of window I'm looking for. Thanks. -Chris
