  1. I'm wondering the same thing. But, I'd think it would depend more so on the project. I tend to watch others making wallets and such on YouTube to get a general idea. Also, I've learned from other crafts such as woodworking that the right tools make a HUGE difference.
  2. After looking around a bit, I believe the color is Cognac with a distressed finish, such as what's on this bag:
  3. But there are so many shades of brown, that when I ask for brown and think of the color in the above image, someone else will think of a completely different shade of brown.
  4. I've simply been calling the color on this sofa a rustic orange-brown, but I'd like to get a more accurate color if I were to get a dye for it. Thanks in advance!
  5. How about every time you put your foot in the shell donkey boots, you can literally say that you put your foot up the ass of that one Jack ass.
  6. I'm wondering if donkey hide is as good as horsehide. I hear that donkey hide sometimes ends up at the Horween factory in Chicago where shell cordovan is produced. If the manufacturers can't tell them apart (besides the obvious size difference...), then are they of the same quality? They are of the same Equus genus, so I can see how they could be very similar or practically no different. The product application would be for shoes, wallets, belts, etc. Thanks in advance!
