I've been making a lot of dog collars & leads for "stafford terriers"

I use "english bridle leather" which I get from Wickett & Craig.

I'm looking for a good conditoner to tell my customers to use.

Someone sugested "Sedgwick's leather dressing", that comes from England.

Does anyone know of something just as good, made in the USA. post-3080-0-58622700-1420219449_thumb.pn

Will Aussie or Skidmore work well for Pull-up and Utility leather? Can I apply it over stitching with upholstery thread without messing the thread up? Some of my designs call for a contrasting natural color thread on black or brown leather and I need a conditioner that smooth's out the pressure foot marks that my sewing machine leaves behind. I've been using Tandy's Pull-up additive that works well, but it doesn't help to protect the finish of the leather from scratches and drying out.
