You can tell it's a beginner's work but I'm very happy with the results, because basically I didn't now how to proceed, particularly for the canteen cover and the box. The hat band is a simple mistery braid and the tassels are made out of my horse hair. By the way, can anybody explain how to make horsehair tassel to look good? I would say the best thing to improve on would be Edging, check out the thread on burnishing the edges,I don't see any thing terribly wrong and I am doing some canteens right now, so I know how though they are.Finnish on the edge will make the dif.
