  1. Has anyone been the the Leathercrafters and Saddlers Journal show in Sheridan?  I will be attending this year and I am taking some of the classes.  I have to come up with a travel version of tools and just wanted some opinions on what I really need to take.  I'm flying from Florida so it's going to be a long trip.

You are going to have a great time!  What kind of classes?  The class listing say what you will need though in tooling classes instructors often have specialty tools they will lend out.

  2. You got some skills, bother!! Great job!!
  3. Ed, I received my Dremel Burnishers yesterday and all I can say is, "Damn!!!" Your craftsmanship is amazing! Can't wait to use them on my guitar strap project this weekend. Anyone that reads this post you have to purchase these burnishers. You will not be disappointed. Thanks, Phil
  4. I read your profile. I think you have the Sheridan Style down pat! Amazing work. Looks like a lot of fun and sore hands.
  5. Deb, The link works perfectly. I have someone working on the first pdf to scale it and put dimensions on it. I tried last night using Inkscape but since it was my first time using that program it was tough. Thanks, Phil

Your work is amazing!! You are definitely under priced though. You should at the very least double your prices.
  7. Nice job on these. The only thing I would do is get some modeling spoons to smooth out your beveling.
  8. Welcome to the forum chiefport. I noticed you visited my profile recently. Is there anything I can do to help you? My philosophy is the same. I am passing on my knowledge through my website - myleatherwork.com. regards, TapTapTap
