I tempted by Barbour linen thread, but i'm hesitant on buying as i don't know the difference in between the different sizes and types, and never felt the difference "in hand". ramrod Report post Posted November 23, 2012 i just bought a spool from randall campbell. shipping was a bit slower than i thought it would be, but i'm satisfied with the product. if you want a good starting point for linen, try their 4 cord. it's very close to what you'd get at tandy. is feels like it's close to the 277 nylon i stitch with.
