My leather interests go back quite a few years. My former job as a horse trainer lead to making harness, then someone asked me to make a bike tool bag, and from there on it evolved into every aspect of motorcycle leather, everything from recovering stock seats, to heavy saddlebags, to custom chaps and vests with tons of sheaths, watchbands and many things in between. If a customer came into the shop, I never say no (sometimes to my anguish). But, it has lead to a pretty good knowledge of many techniques.<br />A query about doing a tooled chopper seat has lead to a whole new aspect of leatherwork. And the more I learn the more I find out how much I have yet to learn. So, here I am, always looking to pick up useful information.
