  1. Hi, Let me start by saying I'm fairly new to Leather working, I've only been doing it for about ten months, after my father gave me his old tools, and have been challenging myself ever since by trying new and harder things. Belts, knife Sheaves, Holsters, Guitar Straps ect. I know inlaying has been covered in other topic's but I really want to try to make a guitar strap similar to the one pictured. I have done basic inlaying on sheaves but am having trouble with it on a guitar strap and belts. the problem is I've tried all sorts of thickness of leather to sandwich the inlay between but it always crinkles up after I've applied the glue and then try to work the strap to be more supple. any help would be very much appreciated. Cheer's, Dean
