Singer 201PHand Sewing Machine

I have the chance to get my hands on a singer 201P sewing machine. It is hand operated, no motor at all. Would this machine be alright to do some leather on. Only wallet outers and key holder outers will be done. Thanks for any help or direction. Darryl

???? I beleive you mean to say a foot operated machine.............

you will just have to sew with it to see how it sews......
