Help! - How Do I Remove Dye Mistake?

I know this has probably been covered somewhere on here before, but I could not find when searching. I was doing some detail background dying on tooled piece and got some dye on tooled section. Not much, but still noticeable. Would like to try and remove from tooled area if possible. This is Fiebings Leather Dye in USMC Black. I have had some success before with water when I used the EcoFlo, but the Fiebings is a little different. Any suggestions to what I can do that would remove dye where I do not want it, but not discolor leather, would be helpful. Thanks.

You can try deglazer (fiebings) but it's usually used to strip the whole piece. Another option I discovered- go down to hobby lobby or Michael's stores and get some liquid latex in the model train section. It isn't cheap, but if you've invested a lot of time in the piece.....

I discovered it by accident when I tried to use it to mask a carved and dyed area from airbrushing. Worked like a charm, but when I peeled the latex off of the tooled area, I also peeled off the dye. It went all the way back to bare leather. YMMV.
