  1. Also regarding shell from horween, I recently made a wallet that mistakenly got slightly wet which not only dulled that portion of the wallet, but also put a hell of a stain into my wood coffee table. I then treated the wallet with saddle soap, which only uniformly dulled the leather and left a soft cloth completly black. Is there something that I need to put on the leather after I get it from Horween to prevent it from doing this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark
  2. Thanks for the tutorial Bob. As a newbie, this is invaluable information. Can these same steps work with non-veg tanned leather, such as shell cordovan which is much more dense? Also, as a final dumb question, how do you wrap the motorized wood burnishing wheel with canvas? I may be picturing what you mean incorrectly. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks again, Mark
