  1. Hey there, this is what I've been up to recently. The women's clutch is just one piece of leather folded and cross stitched together. The cross stitching took for eeevvvveeeerrrrrrr. The growler case is something I did in collaboration with a local growler company here in Portland. Thanks for looking. Let me know if you have any questions.
  2. I'm pretty much just trying to sew veg tanned leather products but nothing thicker than 3/8 of leather.
  3. That's what I assumed I just want to make sure before buying that there isn't a machine out there that's cheaper which does the same thing. Hopefully I can find a local dealer so that I can save some money on shipping if at all possible. Thanks
  4. Hey there, I was curious if anyone knew of a comparable sewing machine to the Cowboy 227R for around the same price or cheaper. I'm in the market for something that sews medium weight leather which also has a speed reducer. Does anyone know of a good dealer for industrial sewing machines in Washington or Oregon state. Thanks for your time, Daniel
  5. Hey Kristy, Where did you learn how to start this 8 strand braid around a core? Thanks!
  6. Hello everyone, I'm fairly new to leather craft and would like to know what their names are how to sew these two types of stitches. I have looked all over the internet with no luck. I'm pretty sure the second one is a cross stitch... Thanks!
  7. Do you think 3-4oz thicknes suede would be too think for a tool roll or say work pants?
  8. Hello, I was wondering if any of you knew where I could find good quality suede or thinner leather for things like tool rolls, pants, bags and etc? Thanks!
