RMB Custom Leather Report post Posted July 19, 2009 (edited) These are some saddle bags that a customer asked me to repair. I usually don't do repairs but this customer was different because he had a sentimental connection to the bags. The bags were damaged due to a motor vehicle accident which caused him to loose his leg and resulted in him being forced to retire from being a fireman. He was excited about finding someone to even attempt to fix the bags and even after me trying to talk him out of repairing the olds he was persistent on keeping the bags. After a few months I finally began working on them one evening and decided to call him. When I called someone else answered the phone and told me that he had passed away that morning. I almost dropped the phone. I then knew I had to get these bags done exactly like he wanted them so here they are. R.I.P L.B. The first ones are the before pictures and the other are the after.
