sharpshooter1981 Report post Posted January 13, 2015 I have a good friend of mine who wants me to recover the seat for his Triumph. He wants a custom carved seat with Sailor Jerry flash art. I am confident in getting the carving completed but have some questions about the dyeing process. He wants the carving to have color (same as the actual flash art). My question is....Can I use Tandys Cova Colors (waterbased) to add the required color, and then finish the rest of the seat with Fiebings professional oil dye?
