  1. Has anyone heard of Reliable? there is a local dealer that has an MSK-1341B cylinder arm machine, comes with servo motor/speed controller and table, I should mention that it's brand new. It looks like a Juki 1341 clone. He claims that it will sew leather. I need it to sew mostly upholstery leather, with the occasional 6-8 oz veg-tan. I'm open to alternatives. I have not ruled out used but after looking around there isn't anything suitable locally (100 miles). PS. I would like to hear from any Canadians who ordered from the US, and what was you experience with customs.
  2. This machine came up for sale in my area, the only info I have is EW115053, and that it's for heavy leather. If I buy this will I be able to get needles or parts? I tried looking up the number, but they only go to EW100xxx. I will be using it mostly for sewing custom book slip covers with 6-8 oz veg-tan. They are asking $750cdn, or approx 700usd.
  3. welcome to the site
