Guest Sharoon Report post Posted October 15, 2012 This is my first leather project. I am working on leather inserts for the top of an old desk I am refinishing. I purchased leather and some dye. I tested the dyes to decide what colour....well now that I am finished I feel like it's way darker than I had hoped or even the samples tested. Is there any way to remove some of the colour. I haven't sealed it in anyway. I think that even a damp cloth would take some off, but I wasn't sure if water was good to use. Appreciate any tips.
