  1. Hello, First off let me say what an amazing place you have here! I am an avid hand-crafter. I've worked with a lot of materials, from Stone to Wood. Leather is a new branch for me. Ever since I was a young teen I was very interested in working with my hands.. I'm somewhat of a geeky guy I guess, which is kind of what led me down this path. I enjoy making things, I find it far more gratifying for me to have something of worth that I built or put together. Now then, I do a lot of Math in my spare time. I have a good 40-50 notebooks laying around filled with equations and random doings... I want to combine all my equations into one, nice looking journal and of course me being me, I wanted that artistic look. The picture I attached is something I am EXTREMELY interested in. The issue is, I really have no idea where to start what so ever. What materials would I need to do something like this? Does anyone have ANY good references on some good books I could grab and start learning. Obviously Im not going to jump right into something like this, I will most likely be taking scraps and playing around with that before I feel confident enough to do this. Any links/suggestions greatly appreciated! And again, thank you very much for allowing me to join your wonderful community.
