Hey guys Shop Gnome here,

Mojo George and I had an idea.

Felt tip "refillable" pens from the local art supply company. Ad some dye and PRESTO! edging.

(this is my first attempt at using this so more info when I get it.)

Has any else tried these things? If so thoughts?

Of course this is USMC Black one of my favorite colors. After the 45 minutes of buffing and more buffing we will see how it comes out.

Let me know what you guys think.

This is what I have been using for a few years now. I have both the fine tip and the fat tip, but what you showed it practically does the same thing. Pour the dye in, then start edging. I get mine from where I purchase my Angelus dyes (Turtlefeathers.net), but I think Dharma Trading carries them too.

I was shown with a stick and some wool tied on the end. I've found this really messy!

I always end up with a few stray fibres straying and dyeing where I didn't want to. Very frustrating!

To me, this in ingenious!!

Thanks so much for sharing

I like to use a black or any color needed felt tip laundry marker. I figure if it doesn't come off in the laundry it should be a good permanent edge marker.
