  1. Mobile site on HTC One X is fine. Blue in colour and all sections and log in work fine.
  2. The digital world changes on a daily basis so we have get used to it. I like it to be honest, clean and fresh. Although the top banner needs work as the logo doesn't look right now but i'm sure that will happen at some stage.
  3. I am on the look out for a new skiving knife and would like to know what you all recommend? Show me yours haha. Thanks Nick

    Sam Browne Studs

Actually that is who my supplier is lol. For some reason they now supply the small base ones and when I call (6 times) I get spun a yarn about some bloke calling me back. Its going nowhere hence why I am looking for a new supplier. Surely there must be someone else out there who sells them? Nick
  5. Hi Trox, Thanks very much for the help. I was hoping it was the one for leather. I've just sold my 2 machines and am now looking to replace them with a decent strong walking foot. Plenty about but just me trying to save a bit of cash. Nick
  6. Hi all, I am having a problem with my supplier in the UK for screw base Sam Browne studs. They used to supply the ones on the left of the picture but now they are supplying the ones on the right. I need the ones with the wider base for a specific item I make. I don't mind buying them in the US or anywhere to be honest as long as I can get the correct ones. Does anyone know where I can buy the wide base 'Skinny' Sam Browne studs? Thanks as always Nick
  7. Hi all, Does anyone know what the model of this machine is? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ADLER-INDUSTRIAL-SEWING-MACHINE-/180919729035?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D469714858496417852%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26#ht_500wt_1156 Its close to me and it looks like a walking foot but the owner doesn't know the model number. Thanks Nick
  8. To be honest the picture is so big I can't tell. Maybe a slightly smaller one would help people get a better idea of how the case looks as a whole.
  9. Hi there and welcome to the site. Do a search for uk suppliers as it gets asked quite a bit. LePrevo is who I have always used, Bowstock, Barkers, Tandy, Abbey saddlery (account needed though). As for the sizes, it does depend on size of the sheaths and pouches you plan on doing so best bet is to get your tape measure out and figure out some sizes. Most leathers are sold by the sq/ft so keep that in mind.
  10. Correct, UK/Euro waist sizes are every 2 " but hole spacings are every 1".
  11. Hi Podge, I'm in North Devon but to be honest that is almost a different country to the rest of the UK. Nick
  12. My singer 201k goes through garment leather no problems.
  13. Bonded nylon thread is fine for leather as it is incredibly strong. Thin but mighty strong and loads of different colours available.
  14. A small piece of kid lining or other thin leather put between the eyelet and the tool can help. It has to be thin though.
  15. I used Metallic Elephant, much better prices and very good results. Plus they do it all using PS or Gimp. If I can remember they needed a 300dpi file.
