How does everyone make their cruppers? Mine are coming out pretty rough! Ive tried two pieces of leather, one piece of leather... and I am stuffing with flax seed. I do not have the forum so I am shapping my hand, any tips or tricks?

Knut:  Would it be possible to also get a scan of your crupper pattern?  I'm working on a reproduction 1830's style dragoons saddle and want to incorporate a crupper. Thanks.
