  1. I am also new, many thanks to those who help us get started. I have been at it for a few months now and like it. I always enjoyed working with my hands and tools. Life has a way of changing as we get older. Hang in there one step at a time. I got aTippmann Boss in yesterday. Yes I know problems, but I like mine so far.   5. Boy Troy this looks like a doable plan. Is that a lawnmower cable? Yes I have looked into speed reducers and knew this was the answer but could think of a way to hit the gas. Tell me more about this modafaction.
  6. Yes I have tryed this myself. I will keep it for sewing cloth and such. I like it is simple and easy to work on.
  7. Dwight thanks for your input on the Boss. I am thinking of getting one in a few weeks and have heard many bad things said about this machine. I would like your input about the issue you have found in this machine, how long have you had yours? What thread do you use? Do you use lube on the thread? Just anything will help. I am handycapped no feet and this machine maybe a answer to the peddle issues I have on other machines.   9. Boy I am not sure of my desire to by a Boss stiching machine. I am handycaped with no feet. I was thinking of the Boss to end the issues with foot peddles. Anyone have a ideas? I have a old Singer 66 that I took the foot peddle and mounted so I can press it with my knee. This peddle will not handle the amps of a larger motor, I think.   10. I am bumping this up to see if anyone can help us. I put fiebing's leather dye purple on VG Tan leather and it came out black with a hint op purple copper and other matalic colors.   11. Yes Jazzman I am in the same situation. I lost my feet. I am also looking for happyness again. I have come along way in the last few years. I have found joy in life even without feet. I spend alot of time around positive people and give as much as I receive. Hang in there the sun is up and enjoy the day. That is my plan.

  15. I am also new to leather work. I can use all the help I can get. I find alot of used things on the internet ebay ect. I have found most of them to be good deals. I am ready to start projects. Have already made several belts. Looking for help finding leather both hides and scrap. Mostly small items. Have a big smile to all Ronald
