rosiart Report post Posted December 18, 2014 I am really pleased with how this turned out. After all the discussions re: edge paint and reading Campbell Randall's tips with the edge paint, I used my woodburning tool to lightly heat the edge paint between coats and got a much improved edge. One with a heat control would have been better, it gets hot pretty fast so you really have to watch the heat but hey, you use what you have. The faux croc is from Tandy, the goatskin used as lining and the one used for the pockets is from Perfect Leather in TO. Hoping my friend likes it. rosiart Report post Posted December 19, 2014 (edited) Thanks Rohn. It was really nice to have one thing I was making this year go almost exactly as planned. Other things I was working on, not so much. Wild Bill, this was made to match a card wallet that I gave to her last year, so I just couldn't break up the set. ( we can still be friends though ) Edited December 19, 2014 by rosiart
