langstoy Report post Posted June 17, 2013 This is a complete Singer 16-88, 1/3 HP Clutch Motor, 115 volt, single phase, 48 inch woodgrain formica table with no chips, 3 foot tape built into front, knee switch, double large spool holder, oscillating shuttle, independant lower and upper feeding mechanisms for general work in cloth and leather. Online information says will sew up to 20 ounce leather and can use #207 thread. This machine was purchased used for the wife and she's never used it. The large spool of white thread that comes with it is old cotton and will break easily. New thread must be purchased. The lady we bought it from used it to do some light furniture recovering. Motor runs sound. The price is $250 firm and it's located in Bettendorf, Iowa. We are right off Interstate 80. We do not wish to ship this machine so local pick-up only.
