Southtexas Report post Posted May 10, 2011 the gun nuts among us might get a chuckle out of my latest creation. The 410 swivel knife. Hiding under that hull is a steel body, ball bearing construction.

Southtexas Report post Posted May 11, 2011 Shoot! Cut it out! That's my style of carving... The shotgun approach! How much do I need to shell out for one of those? Buckskin and Buckshot... yeah Baby! Bill Oh, how I can appreciate someone's abilities with the puns. On a more serious note, that's a one off. Main reason being that the bearings were found items from a defunct camera, not something off the shelf. The hull itself isn't really integral to the knife. I don't have a knurling attachment for my little lathe so I was looking for something to give me more grip... and got creative. You could probably whip one up from an existing swivel knife, turned or filed down to fit inside the hull. Drill out the spent primer to fit... In other words, have fun with it.
