Can I Dye Cowboy Boots A Differnt Color?

So I got a nice pair of cowboy boots at discount but don't like the look. Can I use leather dye and a brush to dye juts the saddle vamps and heal caps?

i did it one time, . . . but then again, . . . I only tried once. Needed a black pair of boots, . . . had two brown pairs.

Took good old USMC black, . . . the rest is history.

Course then again, . . . I was doing the whole boot, . . . you'll need to be careful.

You need to clean, remove the waxes and other finishes and use a spirit type dye. EcoFlow is water based and will not likely soak into the leather. For cleaning, use a deglazer. There are other threads here about using deglazers and what they are made of. So do a search for them.

I use deglazer then oil dye, works great every time.
