wow, that's so great, and i will try do it. but i may spend much time.

It wasn't that hard. Just a little time consuming. First I drew the pattern, carved & beveled it into the 3 oz. leather

I used steep bevelers so it was easy to cut out the filagree. I used xacto, but there are tools just for filagree. BeleIve they are like small sharp chizels, in different shapes. Not to experenced in that , first time attempeting. Then I glued the tan part to the green leather 2 oz.Than cut out the window part (top) dark brown leather. I used some soft upolstery leather very light weight, hand stitched around the window.Than using some light weight 2 oz.natural calf, for the back, I stitched all parts together1/8" from the edge. PS: I installed the male part of the snaps before putting the back lining on. For the back lining, any soft leather will do. I'm sure a sewing machine would come in handy on this project. Some day I'll get one or two.. .mene, what part of new york do you come from, I'm in Brooklyn.
