Here's a picture of the first sheath I've done other that a couple tandy kits. I created the design myself. I thought I was doing pretty well until I put the snap on. Unfortunately for me, I'm right handed! I guess this will make a nice Christmas gift for one of my left handed relative!

Looks good. Knife sheaths are why I got into leatherwork. Lots of good knives in bad sheathes. I learned the hard way to mark L and R on stuff even when it seems intuitive.

Hey Peter, I lived in the old town part of manassas for about 12 years, on Battle Street. I moved from there about 14 years ago. Small world!

Hi Jay

Really like this sheath.. Well done on your first self design, but its a pity you're not the one that's gonna be using that..

Next one, eh? :)

Regards

Phil

First impression : Wow !!!!!!!! Nicely done ! Superb work ! Now thats the way it should be done ! Funny how one stroke of the hammer can change a life ,sending this from your belt to that of another . Perhaps it was meant to be and you were but the instrument to make it possible ! One never knows why things happen the way they do . I can see the love of your craft in your work ,mighty fine work .
