Big Report post Posted December 17, 2014 Hello, my name is Big and I live in North Carolina. I started leather work in October of this year. I have always been interested in leather, the lifespan and uniqueness, feel and smell of leather. I make wine, jerky,pork skins. I also play mandolin,harmonica and guitar. If you are interested in leather and all the things you can do with it, this is place and the people here are outstanding. I have been tooling/working leather about 35 years and thought I knew a thing or two until I found this place, man was I wrong. Learned so much from great people willing to share their knowledge and patterns. Anyway I will quit yammering, look forward to seeing some of your work. Big Report post Posted December 18, 2014 I am from a small town located in the foothills of North Carolina called Taylorsville. The town is kinda like Mayberry on Andy Griffin. The town closes on 5 pm, Monday thru Friday and 2pm on Saturday. The closest city is 24 mi away, Hickory. Red, I am also a shooter, just not in SASS. I was when it first started, but didn't get out to participate. Thanks for your welcome. Alot of people call me Big Dave, but that name always seems to be taken.
