gentle ben Report post Posted December 10, 2013 I want to make a 1.5" belt with the threaded double ring friction style buckle, but I am wondering what's the thickest leather I can reliably use for this. There are plenty of canvas/soft leather belts out there, but can I use a 9/10oz tooling leather? Just looking for others' experiences before I go ahead and ruin a belt blank.
