    Me being a newbie also. would like to know the process for wet forming., Can I use any leather... eg Latigo, 5-6ounce same goes for Veg tan. I want to make wast-belt pouches, for tracer, phone, camera, toolman, pen and small pad. Do I sew lace, rivet. Byt there way fin ished saddlebags. Thanks to those of you whao gave me good advice and encouragement. takes time as I go down too fgar, up for a while now. so Onward we go.Will post pic of bags, whaen I get courage!!!!

    Just started in leatherwork. Wow talk about obsessive. I fall asleep lacing, bags, vests, wallets, de da de da, listening to lizza cotton and etta baker. And the rain, of course. Wait til spring and get the new trike out with the new saddlebags.. yummy.

    how do I lace two pieces of leather together when making motorcycle saddlebags. I do not want sew, at all. I like the look of the cross over both edges lacing look. ( Single double Loop Like the Tandy Video on one piece of leather). I am ready with leather and tools. just need confidence to star :-)t'.
