seat pan on ebay

Came across an ebay listing that has a reasonable price on a seat pan. Item # 180151109278 The pan is made by LaRosa designs. Anyone have any input on quality, etc.? The seller also has finished solos that are built on that particular pan. Looked pretty nice. Beeza? what do ya think? Tim

i don't see any mounting studs ect. i also don't think it would be strong enough without bracing.

i wouldn't use it.

either go with the cheep solo seats that sell on ebay and recover it or contact kevin at baas metalcraft. he makes a strong pan. tell him i sent ya.

here is one of kevin's pans. he has a few different shaps and they come in 10 guage steel of stainless

Thanks! I suppose recovering a new seat would make sense. That way, I would already have a pattern with minimal changes to be made. I'll look for one.
