  1. Hagarsez

    Tippmann Boss

Is this the 'Cast Iron' Boss ? If so I'm interested, I'm in Stuart, not a problem to pick up. Gerry (Hagarsez)
  2. Thank You Sir, I too, originally came from the "Great North East", but West of the Hudson, Catskills, but was transplanted to South Florida after retirement. I made several trips to Gloversville, New York, where I was commissioned to restore a original pre-revolutionary war residence for the present owner. He was also the last of his family to own and manage a tannery that dated back to before the war between the states. I would like to be privy to what ever you or your friends are able to uncover on these mechanized "factories" of what I consider, better times. Yours, Gerry Richardson ("Hagarsez")
  3. Johanna, "Hagarsez I too am interested in the historical end of the Leather Workers Hobby as well as small(?) scale manufacturing (Mom & Pop). Also can't seem to get enough on sewing machines (I am a novice who bought a "Artesian Toro 3200" advertised 2 mo. ago in LW "for sale"sect.) I was a dummy as I have/had NO experience sewing anything, have been searching since foe a "Teacher" for house calls, Oh well, ya know what they say about "OLD DOGS & NEW TRICKS. By the way I really like your site and do appreciate all your hard work ! Gerry (Hagarsez)
  4. Hagarsez, I was 72 Jan. of this year, Stroke took me away from wood shop (fear of all those whirling blades) and wanting a new safer hobby........
  5. I also would like to say "THANK YOU" and give a plug to 'Dave' @ "Artisan", I bought a 'Toro' 3200, advertised in leatherworker from"Tim" (a real gentleman) and through my own incompetence needed assistance, Dave stepped right up and provided all the parts and help I could possibly ask for.... and at NO CHARGE, even though I was the one that "screwed up" Gerry Richardson (Gerry101 - "Hagarsez")
  6. I also am interested in a "Artisan" video as I am in the process of purchasing a 3200, lightly used, here in Fl. I am willing to purchase a '"duplicate"/copy, if possible. I can be contacted via the internet , Gerry101@mac.com Thanks ALL, I enjoy this site greatly. Gerry
  7. Sir, My name is Gerry Richardson, I am a retired Architect, and learning a new hobby. Better still, I live in Stuart, Fl. & interested in your sewing machine ! Is it still available ? If you care to talk to me contact me by 'E' mail at Gerry101 at mac dot com Thanks for your time Gerry
  8. Rawhide, As a rank newbe to leather work as a new hobby for a 'OLD' horse (73) that don't dare go around power tools after a stroke, I thank you for your expertise and instruction. I tried one project BEFORE I read this and almost was ready to Quit ! Gerry101@mac.com
  9. terrahyd,

    Hagarsez (Gerry)
