  1. Hi -- i'm making a cafe seat for my bike. I already have the foam shaped, the cover pattern made, and the leather cut, but can't figure out the best way to quilt the surface of the seat. I was planning to use a low-loft batting, but then i thought i might want to use a closed-cell foam or neoprene so it doesn't soak up moisture though the thread holes. Any suggestions? Also -- any suggestions for the material on the other side of the batting or cushion material from the leather? Muslin? Something else? thx, chad
