hi all

took a long time visiting the forum and want to start to show you my work, I have little time working leather, about 3 years or so, and sheridan style is that I like to make, this is an assignment of a rifle strap

I have to learn how to do something like that.

About how long did it take you to do the carving and tooling on this strap?

because the truth is I'm not very fast doing the carving, about 6 hours, not hard but be very patient.

what was your finishing process for that, great color and finishing job.

i was looking to get a color like that with this thing that I'm working on, maybe once the clearlac dries it will lighten up like it did with the first coat before the antique
