I really like all the pear shading you did. It's added a very 3dish affect. Again very clean work !! Look forward to seeing this one finished.

Very nice tooling! That pear shading and backgrounding work really well to highlight the design.

Hey Roger,

Very nice work, I'm not much of a skull guy; but it is interesting how many skulls you worked into the design. The shading work looks great and adds a lot of depth and detail to the piece.

The backgrounding leads me to ask if it is going to be black; because the pebbling really helps define the design on a black seat. I was struck by how readable the Destination Destroyer seat was even though it was dyed black also. That was purely because of the backgrounding.

Good work,

Dave

thanks everyone!!

the tooling will not be black but most of the rest will be. i generally pebble a bit further out if the whole seat is to be black. it sure helps!

yea outcast.. i didn't remember you using the artwork. i found it two three years ago browsing around and had it saved on the computor till something came along. this bike is black with some realistic type flam work so i figured this design would work well with it

. i used some bigger pear shaders for more effect

Hey dave,

I have seen your work as well as roger's and I must say you guys both do some very nice work...anyway I am just starting out with working with leather and was wondering what oz leather do you use for the seat...I actually have a seat now that I am working on and was thinking about putting thicker leather on top and thinner leather on the sides..any info will be greatly appreciated..

thanks
