My Weight Belt

Finally got around to making a weight belt for myself. Here is my progress thus far.

Here is the main part of the belt. Tooling done, getting ready for dye. The skull patch will fit in the middle area.

First round if color down. I am liking the contrast so far.

Background dye gave me some problems, but pressed on. Got to try out some paste antique for the first time and I really like how much easier it is to handle. Outer layer mostly done. Now to add two more layers of leather for stiffness and see her up!

Mostly Fiebings, except the yellow. That was Angelus. I have let Eco Flo ruin too many of my projects! Thanks for the compliments!

looks good and while I like the way you followed the skulls and flowers and things with your stitching, I'm sure some will think you should have adjusted the carving so you could have did a straight edge with the sewing but I like it
