Toolster Report post Posted May 11, 2014 I purchased Tippmann Boss last winter and have only stitched a few holsters and four belts. Even though the needle probably didn't get enough use in my slow moving machine to warrant changing I decided to put a new one in this morning anyway. I was surprised to find a burr on the needle point. It's on the scarf side only and the other side is fine. It stitches as well as expected for the Boss but I'm not sure if this is a timing issue or if the shuttle needs to be shimmed somehow. Maybe this is an inherent problem with the Boss?
