Popgun Report post Posted November 12, 2009 I am new here and have considered making a knife pouch for a pocket knife. This is a pocket carry not on a belt. I have minimal tools, I have needles leather and wax thread. What would be good to punch holes, I have made a jig to hold the leather when I sew and punch holes. I have read that a diamond awl would be the best but what would substitute till I see if I want to do this as a hobby. I have read tutorials and done some research on leather work. If the first one goes OK I will invest more in tools, just feeling my way so far. I have looked at some of the stores listed here so I see where I can get tools and there is a Tandy in town. Looks like there are some good leather workers here so some general tips would help. I have done research on the internet.
