I have a No.9 sewing machine. When I got it, the pressure foot bar was hanging up really bad. I was told that the dog that holds the bar, needed to be replaced. There was a second dog. I put that in. And now the presser foot won’t raise high enough to allow the material to feed. I put the old dog back in. And the same issue now. Pressure foot won’t raise high enough. I’ve adjusted the square bolt and get no results from that. Any ideas? It seems I’ve missed something somewhere.
