Harness Vs English Bridle Vs Motor Latigo Vs Carving Vs Skirting?

Recommended Posts

I just got my first order of Natural Carving leather from Wickett & Craig! I can't believe how great this stuff looks compaired to the Tandy Leather veg tan I had been getting locally.

With my order Glen sent me a ring of samples but I do not know what the difference between the types of leather are. I tried to search the forum but I am searching for such general words that it was no help.

So what's the difference? Besides color.

Thanks!

Glad it helped. I didn't send it to make you feel bad. It was just informative. My son just got their samples for some projects he wants to do with English Bridle. I spent some time with him discussing the different aspects and feel so we had just been there.

Regards,

Ben

Didn't feel bad at all, in fact just the opposite. It reinforced my opinion of this community.

I paid the $100 to be a lifetime contributor after only a few days on the forum because of people like you. I am amazed at the level of fellowship and willingness to share knowledge amongst the leather worker community.

I really do appreciate the info. Thanks again!

Can you please briefly specify the exact differences you see/feel (smell? ;))?

Thanks in advance!

Softer, zero blemishes, and just looks/feels better. Smells about the same. :-)
