I am looking for recommendations on a good quality basic machine that will sew hair on cowhide to make purses and bags. Don't need anything fancy just a good quality machine that can sew that type of cowhide reliably. I need a table top model that is portable, if possible. I am making bags like those in the picture. I do embroidery on them with my commercial embroidery machine with no problem at.

I have started making hair on cowhide purses and bags. I have used my Bernina sewing machine up to this point to make them and it works but if I am going to be making more (and I hope I get lots of orders) I am considering getting a sewing machine specifically designed for sewing this kind of leather. I also do machine embroidery on them with my commercial embroidery machine. Does anyone have any suggestions about a good basic brand and model of sewing machine that would work for this kind of leather sewing. Thanks
