Most Common Gun Belt Size Question

Recommended Posts

I have a belt glued up that I had an order for, but the customer canceled. I haven't done anything to it yet, so no big deal, really. However, if I were to cut it to length and stitch it up for sale, I wondered what size to make it that would be most easily sold. I tried to search and see it this was covered, but was unable to find anything.

From the grumpy old guy; If it is a double thick trousers belt, my most common one has been about 38". If a wide gun belt, made to wear over the normal trousers belt it would be around 42". Mike

Based on a quick look at the list of orders I've had since April, I would make it 40"....there is BY FAR more 39, 40, 41 on the list than any other size.

I'd just hang it in the closet until someone wanted one that I could cut from that size.

Be a real kicker to cut it to 38, and the very next customer needs a 42.

May God bless,

Dwight
