Very nice little pieces! It can be lots of fun working small stuff since the final result comes up faster and aint that just the moment we all long for, esecially the boardposting part;-)

Love the colouring especially the blue/purple-ish one.

Really nice work. Thanks for sharing the idea. I was needing some gift ideas that I hadn't already done. So, what did you use for the sticks? I suspect a small dowl, but.... I don't know, chop-sticks? Old knitting needles? Shishkabob skewers?

you can use any of those things (if you do an oriental themed one a chop stick adds to it), but tandy sells barrette sticks fairly cheap, which is what I use.

Funny you post these cause I am going to start making some of my own. I will post them when I am done. I like your "bravery" (spelling?) with using the different dyes. Nice work.
