  1. Art, I am Dave, but I did not order my machine in July, I said almost 15 weeks that is what it will be on 9-2-11 order date on the reciept is 5-20-11 at 10:01:43 AM. that counts up to 15 weeks on my calender. I was only interested in what the normal time frame was as I have done most if not all my major purchases as a go get it pay for it, and haul it home type of thing. As for Steve and Cobra I think he is a great guy with a good product would buy another machine from him if the need should arise, he has had a run of bad luck timing whatever, getting machines imported. I did get a message from Steve saying that it would ship on thursday. Dave
  2. I am hoping it is so the wait has been long, at least I think it is, not sure what the standard wait for a ordered machine is, but I am at 14+ almost 15 weeks of waiting. Last week lacking the Cobra I had to sew an 18'9" length twice at 5 stitches to the inch with a Tippman Boss,I had put this job off and could wait no longer. Anyone want to do the math on how many pulls on that handle it took. This is just one of many ways the long delay getting the machine has effected my shop and production. Still Waiting
  3. I have a Cobra Cass 4 ordered for my shop nice to see it is working out well, hoping to get mine soon.
  4. Hello to all, wonderful site I have been here a while and find I forgot my manners and did not do an introduction. My name is Dave I live in northwest Illinois, I raise and ride horses, do saddle repair and have built some saddles. I also made a few holsters, chap etc. I am amazed at the skill level and knowege on here. It has given me the drive to inprove my work. Here is a picture of the first saddle I made. 5. I need a little help with ID of this saddle don't need to know to do the repair just would like the information. A client brought this saddle in to have it repaired. He stated that it was an officers parade saddle I can find no marking or maker stamp. It looks to be on a McClellan tree. The saddle came to him from a friends widow and was reportedly rode for 50 plus years. Thanks for any help. Dave
