First Hat And A Question On It

Ok so this was the very first hat I have ever made. Its triple stitched...all hand sewen but when I bent the brim of the hat for some reason one side has developed a few wrinkles. So the question is why would it do that?

The hat pattern came from tandy and the size is off just a hair so I had to get my hat spreader out and stretch it just a touch but now it fits rather well. The hard part was getting the brim and the top of the hat attached. The holes on the pattern were way to close to the edge so had to readjust it just a touch. But over all I am happy with the way it turned out!
