  1. I have purchased a Singer 29k73. But thanks for the reply's!
  2. Attached is a picture I just got from the owner. I would prefer a treadle stand I think, but which would be worth more, one with a treadle or a motor?
  3. I'm looking to buy a long arm patch machine and have found one that I might go look at, but I was wondering what price range it should be in. It's a Singer 29k172 long arm with a foot pedal. Owner says it was rebuilt, and not used since. Owner doesn't have a price on it, so what would be a reasonable offer? What would be some good questions to ask about it, and what would be things to look for if I check it out?
  4. Hi, I am looking for a long arm patch machine, preferably with an 18" arm or longer. I would love to get a Claes, but my budget isn't that big. An adler or singer with a treadle or motor should be sufficient for now providing that the machine is in good working condition, as I'm not a great mechanic. I am located in Livingston MT, and would be willing to travel a few hundred miles to pick up a machine, or pay for shipping if not too much. Also interested in a flat bed strait stitch machine that can sew light-midweight leather, canvas etc. Thanks
