  4. Does anyone know what the best compressor (specifications) would be for spraying final top coats using a Paasche No.5 airbrush? Thanks in advance. Jamie Maloney "Leather Maid" Brisbane Australia
  5. I have never sprayed finishing coats on my work but, have been having problems lately with streaking. Some of you have suggested spraying finishing coats on. I have been given a small compressor and am wondering if I can use an airbrush to apply lacquer/ finish to my work. If so, what airbrush brand and size should I purchase. Do I also need to filter lacquer before putting it in the airbrush? Please help someone! Leather Maid (Jamie) Brisbane Australia

  7. Hi Folks...I am not a beader but have customers in Australia who would like to have carved belts (which I can Do) with native american beads on the belts too. Now, I realise I can source bead strips already made. But, how do I attach, insert, etc. the bead strip onto the leather belt? It is unclear to me, from pictures I have seen, just how these bead strips are attached to the belt...can anyone offer any simple, straightforward and plaintalking advice on how (if possible) this can be done (I am an older fart and intellectually challenged...HA!)....As I said before, if I have to actually use a bead loom to put beads on the belt, then I'm in trouble. I'm principally a carver and tooler but would love to find an economical and practical way to incorporate bead strips on to my belts. Thank, in advance, folks, for any advice you can offer me....Take Care and be happy...Jamie "The Leather Maid" Brisbane Australia
  8. Hi Folks! I am an American Leather Crafter living in Australia and have been asked to make a sheridan 1 1/2" belt incorporating dice and palying cards in the design....does ANYBODY have or know where I might find playing card artwork for this belt. I can google clip art but, wondered if anyone had ever seen an already existing pattern. Thanks in advance. Jamie "Leather Maid"
